Wellworking are seeking a purchasing administrator to join our dynamic and growing office furniture dealership.
• Improving overall purchasing performance
• Sourcing products from various suppliers
• Stock management
• Day to day administrative support
We are looking for someone who has experience of working as a buyer and has excellent communication and negotiating skills, strong teamwork and customer service focus, as well proven computer literacy skills.
Raising and issuing purchase orders on our IT system
Daily management of stock levels to maintain agreed stock levels; the company operates both a stock management and supply to demand system.
Checking supplier acknowledgements, updating our system accordingly.
Constantly updating product pricing on our IT system
Working with Sales team re pricing and lead times
Ensuring products are delivered within the required time frame
Negotiating with suppliers with a focus to reduce costs and identify cost saving methods
Dealing with delivery discrepancies into warehouse
Products to be booked onto the IT system upon receipt into warehouse
Notifying logistics team of inbound deliveries
Approving supplier invoices on system
General administrative duties
Based in West Acton
Salary would be in line with market expectations with an achievable, performance based bonus scheme.
