Herman Miller Sayl Chair
Launching at Orgatec this year, and available to order from late October 2010, Herman Miller will introduce SAYL chairs, a new attainable seating family designed in collaboration with Yves Béhar (designer of the Leaf Light).
As a family of work and side chairs, SAYL has been created to give you the design, innovation, quality and performance you would expect from Herman Miller - healthy ergonomics, materials and performance advances, environmental responsibility and 12-year warranty – at an attainable price.
Using 3D Intelligent™ technology, SAYL has a full-suspension frameless back to give you freedom of movement, whilst providing full ergonomic support for the spine. The arc of SAYL’s suspension back creates a unique, organic shape that fits easily into any environment, whilst its expressive range of colour choices allow it to compliment, rather than compete with the spaces around it.
SAYL’s Eco-dematerialised™ design means it achieves high standards in design and comfort whilst using the least amount of material. Being 90% recyclable (suspension) and 86% (upholstered), and containing no PVCs, SAYL is MBDC Cradle-to-Cradle and GREENGUARD certified.
SAYL work chairs are available with suspension back, mid-back upholstered and high-back upholstered. Side chairs are available with suspension back, upholstered back and plastic back and with four-leg or sled base.
