19/11/2010: Herman Miller in BA Business Life Magazine

Herman Miller features widely in the November edition of British Airway's Business Life magazine, in a cover story titled 'A Short History of the Office Chair'.  The article which looks at the major landmarks in seating in over 150 years of design evolution, features five Herman Miller chairs, including Ergon, Equa, Aeron, Embody and SAYL and the Hag Capisco chair.


BA Business Life has a circulation of 572,000 and a wider executive business reach than The Economist, TIME and Management Today.

01/11/2010: Orgatec 2010

image: Orgatec logo Wellworking attended Orgatec 2010 in Cologne last week, looking at new innovations and products for 2011 release.  Herman Miller delivered the hugely anticipated Sayl chair confirming first UK deliveries in late February 2011.  With insights into the design process and the first opportunity to sample both the task and side chairs we are looking forward to this revolutionary new seating solution.  Also on display were forthcoming additions to the Setu chair, with some innovative home applications on offer.  Stay tuned for more details.

Orgatec also saw the office furniture industry's reaction to the political & economic climate with a focus on affordable yet environmentally friendly solutions, particularly from established industry leaders such as Kloeber, Herman Miller, CBS and Elite.  With so many great new products scheduled for 2011 it looks like next year will be another busy one!

25/10/2010: Hag Futu wins Green Good Design Award

Among thousands of submissions from 46 countries Hag Futu has been awarded in the category Product Design for its outstanding environmental design and low carbon footprint. Hag strengthens its environmental leadership and was the only task chair awarded in its category. Since the launch in 2008 the chair has received several international recognitions such as the internationally renowned Red Dot Award and the Design Excellence Award and the Environmental Award from the Norwegian Design Council.

22/09/2010: Wellworking On The Move

Wellworking are pleased to announce their move to new, larger premises.  To cope with our expanding team and storage requirements, from October 1st Wellworking will be located in our newly renovated office.  To create a high standard of presentation we have used Herman Miller Abak desking and Mirra chairs, Thinking Ergonomix EONA boardroom table, Vitra Eames breakout seating, CBS monitor arms, IWall partitioning and Workwall.  Photos coming soon....

17/08/2010: Wellworking At AFC Wimbledon

Wellworking were proud ball sponsors for the AFC Wimbledon vs Histon game in the Blue Square Premier League on Tuesday 17th of August at the Kingstonian Ground.  Two late goals ensured a Wimbledon victory and Wellworking would like to thank everyone at Wimbledon for making us welcome for the game. Special thanks to Wimbledon man of the match Brett Johnson for presenting the matchball to us after the game.

09/08/2010: New Case Study Completed

Wellworking have recently completed another successful project.  Molinare are the largest privately owned post production company in the UK and when they refurbished their Digital Intermediate theatre Wellworking were selected as the furniture supplier by the appointed architect.  

We supplied 25 Herman Miller Bumblebee chairs for the theatre and the Embody chair was selected for the editing desks.  This is just one of a number of projects that Wellworking have successfully delivered for both this client and architect.
