t's that time of year again - Clerkenwell Design Week is nearly here with over 60 showrooms open, a wealth of creative agencies and more architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet, Clerkenwell is truly the UK's most important design community.  Wellworking will be there to see the latest releases and design inspirations from Vitra, Bene, Kucsh, Thinking Ergonomix & Knoll.

17/04/2012: Herman Miller At Salone

Herman Miller will be presenting ‘The Art and Science of Seating’ at the Milan National Design Centre, starting today at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (17th-22nd April).  

The Herman Miller Milan space will feature an innovative display displaying the evolution of Herman Miller seating, focussing on the philosophy of human centered design and problem solving solutions. Materials innovation and design artefacts will be showcased, providing an insight into the concepts and processes employed to develop the Eames Plywood chair, Ergon, AeronMirraSetuEmbody and SAYL. The display will be supported by unique video footage and early design drawings and sketches from Herman Miller’s archives.   

The Milan National Design Centre will be open from 9am to 10.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

Wellworking now have a blog that we will use for greater insight into products, ideas and thoughts about the products and services Wellworking offer.  Our first blog is about Rollermouse and why it is such a great alternative to traditional input devices.  Lee Jones (Director of Wellworking Ergonomic Services) has highlighted some interesting facts about mouse usage and how it effects the body.
