The Vitra Albula Table is a large occasional coffee table that can be combined with many different looks. Its familiar feel is reminiscent of mid-century design yet its appearance is as unobtrusive as it is unconventional.
The key features that characterise the Albula table are the complex form of the tabletop covered on both sides with linoleum & the elliptic, solid wooden legs that are turned against each other. The shape of the tabletop was not purely conceived from asthetic considerations but designer, Antonio Citterio tapered off to the narrower sides allowing for easy access to the sofa.
