Vitra Eames La Fonda Coffee Table
The Vitra Eames La Fonda Coffee Table was created as a result of a commission to outfit the La Fonda del Sol restaurant at New York's Rockefeller Center. Alexander Girard was responsible for the restaurant's overall interior, ranging from the wallpaper to the crockery, and it was furnished by Eames. For the restaurant the Eames' came up with a striking base that was used for the chairs, dining tables and even the low coffee table - which still available today.
