The backrest of the Sayl was inspired by suspension bridges – structures that deliver the most using the least material.
The Sayl Draughtsman's stool extends the distinctive look of the Yves Béhar-designed chair into settings that feature high tables or counters.
The elastomer strands of the stool’s 3D Intelligent back support you as you stretch and move, striking a healthy balance between support and freedom.

Products
Which castors should I choose?
Carpet castors are designed for soft flooring where there is more friction.
Hard floor castors have a slight braking system so there is more resistance on solid flooring to avoid chairs gliding too far or too fast.
Please select the castors for the floor surface you will mostly be using the chair on.
Hard floor castors can be used on carpets but the chair may not move very easily and carpet castors can be used on hard floors but the chair will be more difficult to keep still.
Over time, some marking of the floor will happen no matter which castors you select but protective matting can be bought from many high street retailers.
Glides are fixed feet rather than castors or wheels. For regular desk applications we would recommend using castors, glides are recommended for high desking (draughtsman) chairs and stools or for use on unstable surfaces.
Can I use this product at a normal height desk?
No, these products are designed for high desks or work benches that are at least 840 mm high.

We want all our customers to be completely happy with their purchase.

What is the difference between ‘commercial use’ and 'domestic use’?
There are laws regarding the labelling of furniture for commercial offices and home use as some materials cannot be used in a domestic setting.
Many of our suppliers’ products comply with both sets of regulations, but some do not - these will be clearly shown on our website.
Are your products environmentally friendly?
We aim to offer environmentally friendly products throughout our supply chain. Many of the manufacturers we work with are industry leaders in green technology and offer outstanding green credentials. Most importantly, they make products that are designed to last.
Do contact us if you have any questions or feedback regarding a specific product and we would be delighted to help.
